During autumn we harvest, pick, forage and butcher, from the forests that are surrounding us.
We have are own little aplle orchard, we grow a part of our own vegetables and butcher venison from the forests around us. From apples we make must and cider, we pick berries for marmelades and make for example, all kinds of fermented sausages from moose, deer and roedeer.
Since a little while we even offer workshopweekends for groups to show that all parts of an animal are usable and taste well. We offer tours to local bakeries, beerbreweries and whisky distilleries to Dalsland has to offer a taste of Dalsland.
In 2016 the Dutch daily newspaper "De Volkskrant" had a prize winning article about our venison workshopweekends.
